## Description/Job Summary
This position is dedicated to developing and implementing trade programs designed to grow the Company's presence within varied channels including Supermarket, Supercenter, and Warehouse Clubs for RTE (Ready To Eat) categories. Profit and sales growth are key accountabilities. This position will have particular focus on nurturing and developing long term customer relationships necessary to support the Company's strategic retail growth goals in RTE categories and to ensure that the Company meets and exceeds the expectations of the customer and consumer.
## Responsibilities/Duties
1. Acts as primary contact for Marketing for the Harvestland category for CPG product into varied channels: Supermarket, Supercenter and Warehouse Club channels. Assists in communication of Marketing goals and strategies. Works with Sales to develop tactics based on Marketing strategies and monitors implementation of those tactics to ensure proper execution resulting in increased retail brand sales.
2. Assists Sales to identify and fill distribution and product gaps in the CPG Harvestland value channel. Institutionalize market inspection information to assist in meeting merchandising standards such as: detect, close, and monitor chain and store level distribution voids; survey retail price points; evaluate shelving and promotions.
3. Utilizes Category Management skills to develop fact based sales presentations employing brand research (customer and consumer panel, segmentation studies, etc.) as well as syndicated data such as ACNielsen Scantrack (ACV, market/chain/category/brand/sku levels), ACNielsen HomeScan, NPD National Eating Trends, and Spectra. Assists in transforming Sales to be best in class by providing actionable insights to accomplish the Company's strategic goals. Use Category Management skills to enable better-informed internal decisions resulting in increased sales and profits.
4. Works with Sales, Marketing and Demand Planning to finalize volume, mix, profit and budget for Harvestland by channel and for top 20% of customers for the next fiscal year.
5. Provides trade marketing support to Sales by evaluation/recommendation of ads, features and account specific programs that result in increased Harvestland brand sales with retail customers.
6. Assists in presentation content at Sales and Marketing staff meetings, annual sales meeting and broker management meetings. Assists in the development of clear and concise communication to help accomplish the Company's strategic goals.
## Required Skills
Responsible for various aspects of the marketing mix for RTE including trade programs. Responsible for RTE volume growth, mix and profit within channels.
## Required Education
Bachelors degree in Marketing or Business Administration plus 10 years related work experience. Must be computer proficient. Sales and marketing experience required. Must be able to develop strategy using category and financial information. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills. Required travel includes markets and facilities up to 25 - 50% of their time.
## Preferred Education
MBA is a plus.
