Responsibilities:
Assist individuals with disabilities that have been referred by Maryland Department of Rehabilitation Services (DORS ) to prepare for and obtain meaningful employment which may include various levels of hearing loss.
Responsibilities include teaching, advising and motivating individuals to develop resumes, set employment goals, assess job skills, prepare for interviews, employee and employer relationships, work ethics and communication for successful employment outcomes.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) preferred, but must have willingness to learn.
Excellent people and interpersonal skills.
One year experience with training, coaching and motivating people or related experience.
Must be willing to work alternate weekends and some evenings.
Valid driver's license with good driving record required and must agree to background check.
