They ensure that production workers make product according to the customers specs, engineering drawings, and work instructions, meeting quality standards and are free of defects.
Duties and responsibilities Performs daily inspections, on in-process materials and final assemblies Performs measurements in std.
and metric units.
Verifies tools encompass current calibration dates Identify and segregate damaged/broken tools Verify compounds/substances are within established expiration dates Find, report and disposition non-conformances All other duties as requested or assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Certification from following courses a plus:
As9001, and or J-standard preferred Must be IPC 620 certified Minimum of 2 years' experience within a Quality Manufacturing group Ability to read and understand basic assembly engineering drawings, work instructions and customer specs.
Intermediate working familiarity of computers to include Microsoft Word and Excel Math skills a must to include ability to measure in standard and metric methods Ability to multitask with excellent time management skills.
