The ideal candidate will possess the ability to communicate clearly with patients, be comfortable working with people from all different walks of life, and have strong organizational skills.
The Ophthalmic Technician will work directly with a licensed doctor to ensure that all patients receive the best eye care possible.
Responsibilities:
Perform work ups of patients, including gathering brief histories and screening portions of the exam, including refraction Perform diagnostic testing, including IOL Master, OCT, Pentacam, Autorefractor, Specs, Visual fields, etc Assist the doctors with minor procedures when necessary Hours are typically 8-4 Monday through Friday.
