Under the direction of the Tourism Manager, this position will assist with the successful coordination of events hosted by the division.
Duties focus on, but are not limited to, planning, implementing and executing events/tournaments as part of the Department's mission.
Event logistics may include event set-up/break-down, layout, vendor and participant communication, task list completion as well as administrative functions.
Responsibilities may include serving as on-site representative for various events, inventory and organization of equipment.
Work schedule varies depending upon program and event schedules.
Schedule is a combination of daytime office hours and in the field work on evenings and weekends.
REQUIREMENTS /
Qualifications:
Ability to work evenings and weekends, strong work ethic, proven leadership, ability to cooperate with groups and agencies both public and private, knowledge of youth sports and excellent organizational and communication skills.
Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
Applicant must be able to work independently, have strong computer experience (Microsoft office programs, internet), possess a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
